Wrinkles in our skin are scar tissue. Whether from sun damage, a poor diet, or consuming risky recreational substances (such as sugar). Wrinkling skin is an indication of your health.

It is fashionable to get Botox treatments to have “younger-looking” skin. I am surprised how many naturopathic doctors are offering Botox skin treatments to their patients; and how many of my patients are getting Botox treatments.

I have heard that the most common age for women getting Botox treatments is 31 years of age. I have been told that they feel the need to compete with the younger looking 21 year old women. I think that this is remarkable.

I understand the attraction to looking younger. However, I do not agree with poisoning  your facial nerves to look younger.

In the summer of 2003, I attended a skin health seminar in Phoenix, Arizona. They lectured and demonstrated Botox injection techniques on day two of the training. Even then I thought that there must be better way to treat facial wrinkles.

In 2008 I invested in medical equipment and training to load nutrition directly into the facial skin of my patients. I had some success, but not enough to continue offering such treatments.

I now have a deeper appreciation of what affects the skin of our faces.

Areas of your face are reflections of areas of your body. For example, the skin of your forehead reflects the health of your liver, while the skin under your eyes reflects the health of your kidneys. As your adrenal glands deplete due to physical and emotional stress, your lips will become thinner.

It just makes sense. Rather than having a “younger appearing” face, why not have a body and face that are both actually younger?

Don’t get me wrong, if you can look younger it would be great. I think it would be far better if you had a young body and face together.

But, is this possible? Yes, it is. With Med Matrix body detoxification treatments.

There is a dermatologist in Miami, Florida. She has stopped giving Botox injections and now treats her patients with the Med Matrix machine. Since the Med Matrix treatment is new, people are skeptical about how effective it will be. She tells them that they do not have to pay for the treatment of the first half of their face. They are then invited to look at the difference between the skin tone of the treated and untreated sides of their face. The difference has been so obvious that everyone has been eager to pay and have the untreated side of their face improved like the first.

I am offering my patients a new treatment service: a Med Matrix treatment of their bodies and faces. At your next appointment, ask if Med Matrix is an option for you.
